Resilience After Great Loss
A CELEBRATION OF LIFE
Raising much needed funds for Men's Mental Health (Movember)
Resilience After Great Loss: A Celebration of Life
This is not just another fundraiser — it’s a movement to change how we show up for one another. Inspired by my own journey after losing my 15-year-old daughter, Rylee, to suicide, this event is about learning to live and grieve simultaneously, while creating a culture of celebrating life while the people we love and appreciate are still here.
On Saturday, 29th November at Burleigh Driving Range, we’re coming together as a community to raise vital funds for Movember — supporting men’s mental health, suicide prevention, and cancer support. Ticket & raffle proceed will go to Movember. There are thousands of dollars worth of prizes to be won on the day however if you cannot make it an would like to donate, every $20 donated gets you a chance to win $500 worth of prizes as well. To donate please click the link - https://movember.com/m/15363935?mc=1
💐 What makes this event special?
-
A heart-centred community celebration where we “give people their flowers” while they’re still here to smell them.
-
Live music, food trucks, and entertainment to keep the vibes high.
-
Family-friendly fun from 3pm with face painting, a jumping castle, glitter bar, photo booth and fire dance performance
-
Fundraising raffles with thousands of dollars worth of exciting prizes — all proceeds from both the tickets and the raffles go to Movember.
PLEASE NOTE - the driving range opens at 6.30am to the public with all welcome. There will be live music from midday with raffle tickets avail for purchase however event formally starts (with kid friendly activities) from 3pm. Come anytime... bring everyone :-)
✨ This is more than an afternoon/evening out. It’s a chance to be part of something meaningful, to stand for mental health, and to celebrate resilience and life together.
